Yummy! Banana bread is definitely a classic and for sure the best afternoon treat ever. There are thousands of recipes on the internet and even if I tried a lot of them, I couldn’t find THE ONE- until now! I just threw together all my favorite healthy ingredients and the result was this super tasty and flavorful vegan and gluten free banana bread. It’s not only very very simple to make, it’s also a real Superfood-Bomb! I didn’t use any sugar and instead went for organic dates. There is also no flour inside that bread- only gluten free grounded oats and almonds. Due to the fresh mashed bananas, the flax-seed eggs, and the unsweetened almond milk, the banana bread is extremely fluffy, moist and deliciously sweet. I love to top it with some nut butter- mhmm! Everybody loves banana bread so make someone happy today and bake them this delightful treat- it’s really quick and easy to make! 

Vegan and gluten free Banana Bread
  1. 1 cup (gluten free) oat flour
  2. 1 cup grounded almonds
  3. 1 tsp cinnamon
  4. 1 vanilla mark
  5. 1 tsp baking powder
  6. 3 ripe bananas
  7. 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any other plant-based mil)
  8. 1 cup dates
  9. 1 tbsp nut butter
  10. 3 tbsp crushed walnuts
  11. 3 tbsp flax seed with 6 tbsp of water
  1. Mix the oat flour, grounded almonds, baking powder, vanilla and cinnamon together
  2. Now take another bowl and mix the smashed bananas, the almond milk, flax seeds and dates together
  3. Put both together and blend until smooth
  4. Optional: pour in crushed walnuts for some crunchiness
  5. Now put your dough in a baking pan and put it in the oven at 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes

    YUMMY <3 Ich liebe Bananenbrot und sämtliche Variationen, habe aber noch nie eines selbstgebacken. Aber dein Rezept klingt so lecker und vor allem einfach, jetzt muss ich auch mal eins selbst machen! Wird am Wochenende direkt gemacht <3

    Oh, das sieht super lecker aus♥ In meinem Lieblingscafé gibt es auch immer Bananenbrot, selber zu Hause ausprobiert habe ich es aber noch nicht – das muss sich dringend ändern;)

    Yum!! Looks so good =) Just one question, is this 180 Celsius of Fahrenheit? 180 seems low for baking to me, but I also don’t have a ton of experience with vegan baking haha

      it’s 180 celsius 🙂 since the banana bread is baking for an hour- 180 ist just perfect! <3
