The Sheraton Hotel – the classic among the resorts. Only 15 minutes from the airport, the Sheraton Samui Resort is situated along the first row of the beautiful Chaweng Noi Beach. Here you find the typical Sheraton standard: simple luxury, excellent service, and an atmosphere that invites you to feel comfortable and at ease. The hotel has a total of 141 rooms and suites that all have a stylish and modern design. We stayed in one of the Studio Rooms, and the room offered everything you could possibly need, along with a bath tub on the balcony with a stunning view of the ocean and the gardens of the resort. We especially liked the lavishly designed bathroom.
The Sheraton Samui has two different swimming pool areas at its disposal. One of the pools is on the upper level near the lobby of the hotel. The other pool landscape is located directly at the beach, as you can see in the images. This pool was by far my absolute favorite place at the Sheraton Samui. Everything is so beautifully designed and well-maintained, and the fantastic daybeds are also a highlight.
On a wood terrace next to the pool landscape stands the Blue Monkey Bar, which is perfectly suited for cocktails at sundown. The Long Talay Restaurant is situated slightly further along from the bar. Here we had an excellent lunch and dinner. The vegetarian selections are fantastic, and the dishes are very creative. If you’re there, you should absolutely try the signature dish with pumpkin and rice noodles..mhmm! On the menu, you will also find lots of fresh salads and healthy dish options. The restaurant is blue and white and has a very attractive design. Especially beautiful is the view from the terrace. The perfect lunch spot!
Apart from the terrific pool landscapes and culinary highlights, the Sheraton Samui has even more to offer, for example, the well-equipped fitness room, a spa with a great range of treatments and massage therapies, as well as a private tennis court that you can reserve.
Even for vacationers that do not just want a pure resort vacation, but also want to see a lot of the island itself, the Sheraton Samui is the right home base. The hotel offers several shuttles into the center of Chaweng during the course of the day. Here you will find many shops, restaurants and massage studios. The popular Fisherman’s Village and several other attractions are also only a short drive away from the resort.
