Christmas season is around the corner and it’s about time for some decor inspiration, don’t you think? I don’t know about you but personally, I just love decorating the apartment, crafting some homemade gifts and giving everything a little touch of Christmas magic. For al of you who are in charge of the Christmas table decor this year, I prepared a little something that I want to show you today. I hope you get a little inspired.
Do it Yourself Christmas Table Setting with golden Elements: What to do
Actually, I mostly decorate with shades of white, grey or silver. But for this table setting, I decided to go for some golden accessories. I think they fit perfect into Christmas season. The basis of this table setting is the golden cutlery. Since I wanted to work with natural elements for this table setting I put together a mix of Christmas greens that I placed in one line in the middle of the table. My substrate is a black tabletop but you can also use some black table cloth. I think this gives the table setting something magical and gallant.
To bring up the gold again, I also added two golden decor Christmas tree, that I found in a cute interior shop the other day. In addition, I decided to go for some yarrow in a little glass vase. Normal flowers would be too much for this table setting and the yarrow is very simple and minimalistic. Last but not least, I used black plates (you can get them at Ikea for 1,99,- per piece). I placed some cloth napkins on the plates, as well as a little branch of greens and bundled cinnamon sticks. The cute gift tags are from our US trip and I totally love them. You can easily make them yourself with some white paper and a golden pen.
