Details: Dress New Look // Shoes Rebecca Minkoff (similar here) // Blazer New Look // Clutch New Look
The wedding season is on and like every year there comes the question: What should I wear as a wedding guest? Today I want to show you a wedding guest outfit that I styled. In addition, I want to share with you 6 Do’s and Don’ts for your next wedding guest look. I decided to go for a pastel colored outfit, which is great for spring and summer weddings. The dress from New Look has a very delicate and soft floral pattern, and a lovely open back. I paired it with a pastel pink and slightly oversized blazer, that I also love to wear with casual outfits. I decided to go for my Rebecca Minkoff sandals and a pastel pink clutch from New Look, which has enough space for everything a girl needs at a wedding. I just love this look and guess what? Without the shoes, the whole ensemble costs only 75€! How do you like the outfit? Are you invited to weddings this summer?
DO..wear comfortable shoes in which you can dance. You don’t want to be the boring person who sits the whole time while the crowd is dancing like nobody is watching, just because your heels are too high or not comfy enough. As an alternative, you can also bring some dressy flats with you for the dancing part of the wedding.
DO..wear pastels, if you like to. Pastels are the most worn colors at a wedding since they are super soft, not too colorful and also romantic.
DO.. wear tailored suits or skirts instead of a dress. Feel comfortable and content in what you are wearing and be happy! A smile is always the best accessory you can wear to a wedding 🙂
DON’T.. even think of ignoring the dress code. Be respectful and mind the dress code that is written on your invitation. If you’re not sure what the dress codes means, here is a pretty cool dress-code-guide.
DON’T..wear anything that is too revealing. A wedding is not a place where you should look overly sexy.
DON’T.. hesitate to wear something romantic. A wedding is a celebration of love and you can definitely express that in your look.

21. June 2016 at 19:42Sehr hübsches Kleid. Ich finde Pastellfarben für eine Hochzeit auch sehr passend. Und bequeme Schuhe sind auf jeden fall ein Muss. Schließlich muss man in ihnen eine ganz schöne Weile laufen.

22. June 2016 at 21:16I was just at the wedding last weekend and I was wearing black and white long sleeve dress with high heels and I didn’t even care if I was not comfy at all in them, because as you said – on the wedding you have to have fun and dance all night long 🙂

25. June 2016 at 20:51Ein wunderschönes Kleid!
