At home, I eat most of the time vegan, with very few exceptions, like when friends a visiting or something like that. My boyfriend actually, does too but a few days ago he told me that he slowly runs out of ideas what he can put on his toast, except avocado every day. The supermarkets here have a huge offer of vegan bread spreads but almost all of them are very high in fat and have bad nutritional values in general. To inspire my boyfriend a little with his toast-dilemma, I decided to present him 6 vegan toast ideas both sweet and savory. Actually, there are so many amazing ways to make a delicious vegan toast without much effort, you just have to get a little creative here and play with the ingredients you have at home. Today I want to show you all my favorite vegan toast ideas and hope you love them as much as I do.
My favorite combination is definitely Avocado and pomegranate seed- Avocado for president!However, my second favorite is the one with cashew butter, blueberries and banana slices – so simple and delicious. Perfect for breakfast! I’m also a humus-addict and love to mix with new ingredients. Just recently I tried red beet hummus for the first time (classic hummus recipe + 300g red beet).
