3 Rosé Wine Recipes for a perfect summer night

At these nice, warm temperatures there’s just nothing better than inviting a few friends over, enjoying delicious ice-cold cocktails, and having a toast to summer. My favorite drink for these kinds of evenings is rosé wine. I have created 3 different cocktail recipes that you all will hopefully like just as much as I do.

Rosé Cocktail Recipe: Rosé Lavender Lemonade

One thing is for sure: you will surprise your guests for sure with this drink. The aromatic scent of lavender, the fresh lemon, and the fruity, full-bodied rosé wine are the perfect combination for a nice summer evening. The lemonade is also delicious for daytime enjoyment in its alcohol-free form and is a great change-up to the classic lemonade.

Ingredients:

For the Lavender Lemonade:

  • 1/2 handful of fresh or dried lavender
  • The juice of 5-7 lemons
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 500ml carbonated water

For the Rosé Cocktail:

  • 200ml Rosé wine
  • 120ml Lavender Limonade
  • Ice cubes

Preparation:

For the Lavender Lemonade: Mix the lemon juice, sugar, salt and carbonated water together and stir until the sugar has fully dissolved. Taste in between and add more lemon juice or sugar as needed. Now store the lemonade in the fridge for the meantime.

For the Rosé Cocktail: Mix the rosé wine and lavender lemonade together and then top with fresh lemon and lavender pieces. Tip: for the perfect mix, make sure to taste it before serving.

Rosé Cocktail Recipe: Rosé Summer Sangria

Sangria – a classic! With rosé wine, sangria gets an extra kick. Fresh peaches and juicy berries make sure for a sweet summer treat. Very refreshing and quick to prepare!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle rosé wine

  • 350g fresh fruit, e.g. strawberries, peaches, raspberries

  • The juice of 1 freshly pressed lemon

  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar

  • Ice cubes

Preparation:

Cut the fruit into small cubes and put into a pitcher. Now add the lemon and grapefruit juice, as well as the brown sugar and ice cubes. Finally, pour the ice-cold rosé wine over the mixture. Mix everything together well and serve with fresh fruit.

Rosé Cocktail Recipe: Rosé Grapefruit Splash

This cocktail is one of my absolute favorites in the summer. Grapefruit and rosé wine are just a super delicious and refreshing combination. This visually-appealing cocktail also makes the Rosé Grapefruit Splash perfect for the next girls’ night!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle Pinot Grigio

  • The juice of 4 grapefruits

  • 500ml carbonated water

  • Ice cubes

  • Berries for decoration

Preparation:

For the Grapefruit Lemonade: Squeeze out the juice of four ripe grapefruits and mix together with 500ml of carbonated water. If the grapefruits are too sour for your taste, you can also add a little bit of honey or agave syrup to sweeten.

For the Rosé Cocktail: Now fill the glasses up half-way with rosé wine and then pour the rest full with the grapefruit lemonade. Add ice cubes and berry skewers, and then my favorite drink is finished.
